Topping-Out Ceremony for the Q22 Sports Center

An important milestone for elite sports in Stuttgart: On April 14, the topping-out ceremony for the new Q22 sports center was celebrated. Mayor for Sports Dr. Clemens Maier marked the completion of the structural framework.

In the future, around 6,000 square meters will provide optimal training conditions for beach volleyball and judo, as well as for performance-oriented handball. The center will complement the infrastructure of the Stuttgart Olympic Training Center and strengthen the targeted development of young talents and elite athletes.

The project also sets new standards in sustainability: photovoltaics, solar thermal energy, district heating, as well as green façades and roofs are integral parts of the concept.

Completion is planned for 2027 – another major step forward for elite sports in Stuttgart 💪
